Been to Midtown Comics many times. Went last night as a matter of fact. Could’ve done some real damage but I didn’t want to pay full cover price for anything.
which one, times square or grand central?

Im guessing ill come back with quite a stash. I also wanna buy some weird shit, just a few numbers of really obscure shit.

Times Square mostly. I have been to the Grand Central location but it didn’t have as much as the other.

Vin Mon Lapin if you can get a reservation was new favorite thing

if the weather cooperates, a walk around the plateau / mont royal area is nice. the famous bagel place is st. viateur

cafe santropol prob right up your alley as a vegan

schwartz's deli is the smoked meat place

a walk around the old port is nice now too. st paul st

Gibby's in old port is a must

rooftop bar at hotel nelligan is a great spot

El Pequeño bar in old port is tiny and famous for their cocktails. there is a secret bar underground through a non-descript door on the left

My two favorite places to get food in Montreal were probably:

Patati Patata Friterie de Luxe on Boul St Laurent;.

Resto Vego on Boul St Denis

I'd also say walking the stairs up Mt Royal is an essential Montreal thing to do

My kids have decided as definitively as 10 year olds can that they do NOT want to go on a trip for their birthday later this year (had been discussing Caribbean cruise) and would rather just have a party here and friends stay overnight.

A little disappointing and I think they will regret it but now Mrs. Bam and I are gonna put that $ toward a trip for ourselves.

Where should we go?

Been casually browsing group tour options through the Canadian Rockies. Looks beautiful. I wish the ones with a lot of rail travel weren't so expensive.
