Get Right is a bunch of fun. Dark Matter is a monster. It is remarkable that a band pushing 60, 3 decades into their career, could put out something as hard hitting and visceral.

'Eroding away...we're pulling apart' is a lyric that is constantly in my head.

This is also my daughter's second favorite pearl jam song (behind Garden)

It is interesting to see how something like Get Right transformed iver the years. It was revilied when Riot Act came out.

sticking with an album long enough to give songs a chance to reveal themselves pays off.

or everyone who hated get right just doesnt post anymore. But I dont give up on any pj record (or song) until its gotten a lot of listens, and I am firmly in the ‘what is this shit…hey this is pretty good’ camp.
