A early aughts show on VH1

basically they would approach the musicians in a band from the 80's-90s to see if they would reunite for a one night stand playing their old hits.

while i watched this when it aired it has been popping up on my feeds of late. Personal ones I enjoyed were Scandal (they opened for adam ant for my first concert in 1983), Romeo Void and ABC.

it shows the side you didnt get to see about the bands back then. Martin Fry from ABC was a pleasant enough interview and seemed to really enjoy people enjoyed their music/look from back then. Debra Iyall seemed to be the most, not sure if i would use the word resentful, but distrusting of the industry. She didnt fit the "looks" of what execs wanted of a lead singer though her writing and singing more than matched what was needed.

Flock of Seagulls was a tough one since the brothers Mike and Ali were at odds and one of the reasons the band broke up. Paul reynolds pretty much had a nervous breakdown. I knew he was young but I didnt realize he was that young.

I remember they tried to talk to Billy Idol at his house and he called the cops
