we had already been through a month of concrete ice which likely weakened it. plenty of single digit temp days

but yes there are some pretty big wind gusts right now so that was prob what did it

two 2-hour shoveling sessions today

and a thorough clearing off of the arborvitae

some were at like 90 degrees bent from heavy wet snow

i got like 2-3 foot snowdrifts in some places

now the temp will drop to low 20s

fun winter

Dang yo, almost half my family got hit by a tornado the other day. Our high school's mascot is a tornado, named for a tornado that wiped out the town a hundred years ago. Living up to the name.
