It was good enough. I wish the budget had been a little bigger for a larger-scale Homelander showdown. I also wanted to see him suffer a bit more.

I enjoyed this season quite a bit, especially relative to a rough season 4. I LOL'ed a lot throughout.

Getting rid of Homelander was great but the happy Hollywood ending...i don't think I liked it. Unleashing the virus as Huey shoots Butcher would have made sense to me.

I get that Homelander had to become the little bitch at the end but I felt the acting was a bit over the top.

The "you can do it" moment from Frenchie was lame to me.

Poor Terror.

Deep dying via the all the ocean goin fish/mammals was obvious but still satisfying.

Oh Father....oh my. I really like the actor that played him, great work.

Ashley, that was a quick turnaround. So funny.

The entire Gen V cast got nerf'd badly. A meager appearance by 3 of them and then they're out. After all that build up in Gen V S2 about Marie being on the same power level as Homelander. What a waste.

That being said, they did leave a lot of things in the air so there's a chance they'll be back.

I thought they absolutely landed the plane. I was feeling very emotional pretty much the entire episode and did shed a tear at more than a few moments, but I’m also a sentimental baby so I don’t expect everyone to have the same level of reaction. Show couldn’t have ended with anything else than a Billy Joel song

when you sit and think about it it really is obvious that butcher needed a pure person such as hughie to try to pull him in when he went to far. the problem was there were times huey let him go to far but in the end they both played their roles so well.

i thought the pairing of Mothers Milk and Ryan was completely out of left field. kimiko going on her own seemed natural. annie and hughie having a kid
