I really enjoyed it and continue to be amazed at the storytelling and production quality of these canon animated series. Not just the visual style but the direction and attention to detail is outstanding. All hail Sam Witwer.

I know a lot of people are sick of that time in SW, but from the clone wars through to post ROTJ/pre-sequels has just an insane amount of untold storytelling yet to do. I would love if all of the shows were in that time period. Give me a live action of Saw and young Jyn Erso fighting the empire. A Ventriss book to movie adaptation, when Hera first meets Kanaan. I love this timeframe. The only other one that interests me is long, long ago, beginnings of the force, etc.

Just started Ep 4. That trick Maul does with the Force making the guy slice himself to pieces with Maul’s lightsaber is just absolute badass.

Jesus Christ. That was incredible. Vader was even better here than in Obi Wan. Spectacular. It was cool having him not speak but I was hoping he’d make some smarts crack to Maul about being in the Emperor’s favor or something. Just so fucking cool.
