Took my mom to see The Sheep Detectives for Mother's Day because I'm such a good son. Fun little movie. Very touching, too. We both had to get the tissues out!

Total Recall. I was always confused about what the hell was happening at the end with Arnold's and the girlfriend's face. I used to think they were mutating, but that makes no sense. So I guess it's supposed to be an air pressure thing, and somehow their faces stop exploding once the atmosphere stabilizes.

The effects work in this are still amazing. The sets, not so much, but they are fine.

I also went to see The Sheep Detectives but I didn't really like it. Felt corny, obvious and annoying, despite the cuteness of some of it. The "moving" moments felt so forced to me.

It really is Knives Out for little kids, but if you're already not wild about Knives Out it's a tough watch IMO

I had zero interest in this movie until that sentence.

Guys, I don't want to see it. I think it looks terrible. I'm just saying if I didn't know what it was and someone said to me, "it' Knives Out for kids" that's interesting!

I see what's happening here. Jorge's embarrassed that The Sheep Detectives made him cry and he's compensating by putting on a tough exterior and pretending he didn't like it. Classic Jorge.
