Shot in my first competition on Sunday. Achieved my goal of not finishing dead last. And I won the door prize raffle so I have a certificate for a free Ruger RXM 9mm.

Though I think they'll send me a different gun since that particular model isn't a rostered firearm in Massachusetts. It's not entirely illegal, but you can only buy it second hand via private sale or through a frame transfer.

Either way, I can't redeem the certificate at all until the local police department finally signs off and issues my LTC.

I got two "shelter in place" alerts on my phone about that. I think it was south Austin. I'm up north now.
