Rumor - the Zelda releasing in 2027 uses the Link's Awakening / Echoes of Wisdom engine. Developed by Grezzo. Gannondorf is likely playable.
Rumor - the next mainline Zelda is targeted for 2028 (lol). Same Hyrule as BotW and TotK. Will feature a "reality" mechanic that allows Link to switch dimensions in order to solve puzzles. Think Ratchet & Clank: A Rift Apart meets Zelda.
And, of course, OoT releasing this year.

Same Hyrule as Tears and Breath of the Wild would be pretty lame. I haven't played Echoes of Wisdom but I like the cadence of alternating between 2D and 3D.
