Burt's outrage is so predictable. Don't come at incel lord Elon. Don't cast black women in your movies.

You have a pea brain and a tiny penis.

Tiny penis and general predictability. But yeah.

Burt obviously didn’t watch the show so why bother replying? His criticisms were either answered by the show and he missed the clear final shot of the show showing them doing freelance super hero work.

Given the cynical universe they inhabit, about 99% of superheroes are sexual predators or worse, so it's a virtual certainty normies will suffer and eventually another Homelander would show up. Butcher did nothing wrong.

Well, there are people other than Burt who like to talk about shows on this board. I just needed to pick up his quote in order to discuss.

Amazon will Amazon, but dammit that was a good show.
Tough for me not to immediately identify with Hughie, I mean come on, a non-superhero fueled by hope, Billy Joel super fan? Easy!
Of course Amazon can afford all the needle drops which helped a ton, and of course they will milk this cow dry but I think they stuck the landing and even showed a little restraint.

I never got into Gen V, but we’re getting a prequel (Vought Rising) instead of a continuation despite several loose ends left (Soldier Boy being cryo-freezed again, and Hughie not taking the job of overseeing supes, for example).

I dug it, a lot.

I suspect Vought Rising will have some present-day Soldier Boy sequences. Maybe the series is him dreaming in cryo?

I finished the show last night. I liked the ending, but I get Burt's exasperation. Butcher was right, but killing Kumiko would be wrong

Yeah. But, is Ryan safe now because he had been blasted by Kumiko? Was Butcher?

The finale was fine. The last two seasons began to feel a bit wheel spinnie to me though
