Couple of songs from my jazz playlist from these parts of the world:
I'd love to hear what trag thinks of the drum sound.

I am playing the latest Oded Tzur album and really enjoying it, save for the one track he sings on which is just kind of difficult to listen to. All the other stuff is as beautiful as we've grown to expect from him

AOTY at this point. Let's see if Boards of Canada or maybe the upcoming Peter Gabriel will unseat it, but I'd be surprised if that were the case. This one is stunning me every time I spin it.VinylGuy wrote: Mon May 18, 2026 1:15 pm new Jeff Parker is gorgeous.

Absolutely loathe the Flea album. Utterly embarrassing use of some of the best musicians working right now. Glad that they're getting paid well though.VinylGuy wrote: Fri May 22, 2026 8:18 pm yeah, its a wonderful listen. I love to listen to it while i walk.

Sonny Rollins passing away the day before Miles Davis's 100th birthday deserves a post. RIP to one of the greatest improvisers to ever walk the earth.

Talentless dork who never grew out of hipsterdom. Most kids realize it's cringe by the time they're done with design school. This cunt, on the other hand...
