We had our divisional meetings at home office the last few days. We all discovered a pretty good comment about those good employees that will get there “someday.” “Someday” isn’t a day of the week. If they’re not meeting expectations in a reasonable amount of time, they’re not ever going to. Love that.

A customer walks into the office. My co-workers pretend they see nothing. I get up, walk over, deal with the customer. I walk back to my desk. My co-workers, immediately: "what was that about?" And then I have to tell them and then they have to comment on it.

It is unpleasant to do most of the work here. It is unpleasant to also have to re-cap everything I do immediately after I do it. If you are so curious about what the people at the counter are saying, please stand up and go talk to them.

This one was especially unpleasant because the customer had a valid complaint stemming from the fact that my one colleague I guess decided to just send them a letter two days ago instead of picking up the phone and calling them. Like it would be delivered by the Flash or something. And then he has the nerve to be like "oh this is why blah blah blah bullshit" at me.

And I can't tell these people what I really think (if you want to know so bad stand up and go talk to them yourself) because I need to spend all day every day with these people for the rest of my life.

Please everyone leave me alone
