So a good few years ago - I was moving our BBQ out of the garage. My daughter was hooning around on her scooter, and she went straight into me. I lost my balance slightly and my grip on the BBQ went - resulting in the following

Decided to hold onto the base as it was still fine - and thought about using it as a fire-pit, but it just sat out the back unused - along with a bunch of other unused items

Decided I would clean up this area and try and create a nice 'chill out area' so I thinned out the garden - removed a bunch of the unused items - cleaned up the bricks and concrete and built a table for the broken BBQ/Fire-pit, and yesterday - pretty much finished it off. I'm surprisingly happy with the end result

She didn't care. We barely went out that part. Once I started though she was trying to direct the way things were going to look.
I've in tandem been tidying up around where the trampoline is. Got most of that done this weekend too.
Once they're all done - it's on to building a water feature out the front of the house.
Had no real motivation to do stuff like this for some time. Then my dad passes and I have project after project I want to get done. When I go and get his abundance of tools there'll be no stopping me
