had my pre-op meeting with my ortho yesterday and he enters the room, Second verse is the same as the first. how you doing my man?

gave me a bit of comfort knowing he is so positive. while it is routine surgery and I had it done on my right hip in oct of last year there is still a bit of worry for me.

then i got the nose swap, chest xray, ekg and peed in the bottle which was tough. I didnt know i would have to do that so from my ortho to the testing lab i chugged a large coke zero. by the time i got to the testing i was ready to pee. I said oh if i have to give a urine sample i can go do it now. the tech said, bathroom is in use now. so i had to wait till they drew the blood and nose swab. i was so close to just handing them my shorts for the sample

Pre op doctor appointments

Dentist - they have to sign off you dont have a infection before surgery
Regular Dr - they have to sign off you are of good health to have surgery
Cardiologist - they also have to sign off you are in good health

Dentist signed off and had my regular drs visit today. this may be the first time in the last 5 years that my blood pressure was normal (120/81). I usually have white coat syndrome and are like 140/ 95/100
