I gotcha. No worries. I'm glad you liked those records. I wish I had liked them more, TBH.liebzz wrote: Tue June 02, 2026 11:13 amAdmittedly it’s been a long time since I heard those albums, so it’s based on pure memory.epilogue wrote: Tue June 02, 2026 3:04 amHuh...liebzz wrote: Tue June 02, 2026 2:20 amMcCartney III and New off the top of my headepilogue wrote: Mon June 01, 2026 9:13 pmWhich McCartney album is the most recent where you wouldn't say the same thing?liebzz wrote: Mon June 01, 2026 1:32 pm I listened to the Paul McCartney album this morning, and while I probably immediately enjoyed half the songs and knew I needed more time with it, I will admit I was underwhelmed as compared to the hype. I listened to McCartney III once and then completely forgot it existed. St. Vincent is even on that thing (I think?) and genuinely have no idea how that song goes.
I think the last McCartney record that I fully enjoyed was like... Flaming Pie? Maybe? Or wait, when was Driving Rain? That was after right, so I think that one.

Listened today and I kinda think it's his best albumliebzz wrote: Tue June 02, 2026 2:24 am Also I quite enjoyed the new Kurt Vile - yes chill - Holiday OKV, Chance to Bleed, Rock o’ Stone, 99 BPM, and Zoom 97 are immediate favorites. I feel like as always, the more listens and fall into that space (stream of consciousness stoner ramble) the better it gets

Two new Interpol songs dropping on the 9th. I haven't enjoyed much of their post-Carlos output, but I've heard some live footage of "See out Loud" and thought it sounded pretty encouraging, so hoping for the best.
