This is more of a post about travelers in your city.

I had a funny cultural exchange at my restaurant with a Dutchman earlier today when I refilled his soda. He was confused but thanked me for my excessive generosity.

He and his friends are in town for the World Cup and asked me for other areas in the neighborhood to visit. I recommended the Menil Collection, an absolute gem of architecture and art (also, FREE) but he scoffed. Then I recommended a bar and he was all about it.

Shame on me for thinking Europeans would be interested in Jasper Johns, Cy Twombly and Mark Rothko after I got them all hopped up on Coca-Cola.

What's white trash to you? I didn't find anything in that exchange trashy.

White trash is probably too severe. I just meant Americans tend to think of Europeans as cultured and curious people, but plenty of plebs there too.

Ah, gotcha. I'd recommend the Menil to anyone, for the record, but I catch your drift.
