The league’s proposal’s regarding the draft are just about as radical as a salary cap. Wtf are they doing. I know it’s all about money, the MLBPA estimates the owners will save $1 billion in draft bonuses and salaries over five years, but this is going to be laughed out of the room.

Maybe they pinch hit because they knew he was gassed and at that point you might as well get a better bat to the plate once. So technically not removed for another pitcher but still, removed when it was time for another pitcher. Unless that pinch hitter was in the bottom of the 9th.

I think he probably cares more about being at 9 home runs when he wanted 10. I wonder if the expansion of the DH kind of eroded his desire to stay in the league.
