Yes they are:
[after Gary dropped] The following day, FX and Hulu jointly announced that the final season would premiere with all eight episodes on June 25, 2026, on FX and Hulu, as well as internationally on Disney+

I’m sure we all predicted that The Bear was going to chill out for Season 5 (only a spoiler for Episode 1)
Spoiler: show
And then they have Hans Zimmer score the premiere episode lol.

I predict a lot of crying, lots of people talking about nothing while looking at nothing and trying to sound super deep and at least a few scenes were they all look at each other and smile because they are all together at trying to grow up

Lol. I mean they’re not essential to the story, but I definitely missed them.

I have a thought on the show being scored rather than having contemporary music. I’m only through episode 7 so far, but
Spoiler: show
I’ve been reading this show as leading towards being a commentary for how overblown and unnecessary fine dining can be in the pursuit of perfection when some of the best meals in your life can be prepared by your own mother or sometimes a perfectly cooked burger is what actually hits the spot. They had the Beef, a working class staple and remade it into a fancy restaurant where the beef window is the only thing making money. I wonder if choosing a score is representative of being overly formal as opposed to the contemporary music usage being seen a lower form of music

We’ve got Gary queued up ready to start, then straight on into the final season.

We’re halfway through the new season. I like it, but I miss songs.
