Milly Alcock is very likeable, but this movie is tremendously generic and kinda incompetently made! Some of the lamest action scenes in recent memory. Why was Jason Momoa in this? He added nothing. He wasn't cool or interesting or funny, and it seemed like the movie wanted us to believe he was all three. What did Kara want? What changed her in this journey? It all seems so half baked. We just kinda follow her barely-a-character through a barely-a-story across various barely-settings in pursuit of a barely-a-villain, building up to the ugliest and most boring climax. The whole movie is a big shrug. I was surprised at how bad it was, and this from someone who was generally positive about Gunn's Superman

This one is struggling hard in the US specially ; reviews are not good either. I kinda feel the Studio knew it because nobody involved in the movie seems pretty happy about it

Yeah this is a colossal bomb. Might not make it to $200M worldwide.

Between this and the generally so-so performance of Superman, Gunn's DCU is in trouble.

Superman did alright and im not sure what they were expectong with this one in terms of box office ( Kara was never a popular character) but it feels they fucked up the movie somewhere along the way.

Im betting Clayface will have strong reviews at least and Supes 2 is coming along so worst case scenario Gunn needs to step up and bring his Bats and WW sooner than any other weird title.

I also guess they might be slowing Down because of people’s fatigue with the genre.

I don't think they're going to let Gunn do Batman for a few years. Battinson needs to play out, which might mean a third movie, but at least means they're not going to crowd out Battinson 2 with any announcements about a Gunn Batman

I kinda get why it’s getting the negative reviews.
I fall under the easy audience crowd, I think it’s an entertaining summer flick.
I don’t understand the expectations.
