I know you've been beating this drum for a while there wease but just hearing/reading the phrase "do away with the midterms" is incredibly jarring.

Fairly certain the conference along with the document dump and Clayton's testimony is simply there to muddy the waters, which is old hat for this regime but absolutely infuriating... willfully ignorant can really be the only possible reasoning to not see through the bullshit and connect a few goddamn dots. That said, this administration has not been told 'no' near enough, obviously, and this election pressure is where it may finally boil over.

I hope you’re right, but I’m afraid you won’t be. As you say, no one tells him “no.” And with the Supreme Court eating out of hand, who’s to stop him in this case?

I have zero doubt in my mind he will TRY to stop the midterm elections. What comes next... ? I'm not confident.
