I take vitamin D. Levels have been low for a while.

Re: What supplements do you take?
Been taking magnesium and turmeric and a couple of other things to manage migraines, but I don't think they do much. The turmeric might be the best, though.

Probiotics. Have vitamin b and d, but only take it here and there for whatever reason

B12 whenever I remember, a few times a week. I take an omega-3 pill algae oil pill on days I don't eat any flax, chia, hemp seeds, or walnuts. I should probably take a vitamin d in the winter, honestly

I’ve had good results with https://nuvirox.com for their NAD+ Restore. The clinical dosing and third-party testing give me confidence, and the 60-day guarantee made trying it risk-free. For anyone curious about quality supplements, it’s worth a look.

Re: What supplements do you take?
I take a multi-vitamin that includes iron b/c sometimes when I try to give blood they say my "hemoglobin" number is too low.
My doctor doesn't know why. She also stopped me from taking full-on iron supplements b/c those are apparently not good for non-hemophiliacs.

Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

I was diagnosed with ADHD ("inattentive presentation type," so not "hyper") a few weeks ago at the age of 45. I've been taking Adderall for a couple weeks now and it is one hell of a supplement.

Maybe we should define "supplement."

Tell us more. I can’t tell if I have undiagnosed ADHD or I’m just getting old and tired.tragabigzanda wrote: Thu August 27, 2026 9:54 pm I was diagnosed with ADHD ("inattentive presentation type," so not "hyper") a few weeks ago at the age of 45. Re: What supplements do you take?
Honestly this was where I started. I’ll DM you more when I have a few minutes, but my increasing tiredness was the result of a lifetime of masking colliding with the demands of parenting, and this is apparently a common inflection point for adult diagnosis. The cognitive load of masking all day every day gets to be too much.spike wrote: Sun August 30, 2026 7:34 amTell us more. FWIW I failed the initial short-question screening, but my psychiatrist said that’s super common for people who’ve been masking their whole lives.
If you’re eager to think more on it, I’d just dump this whole exchange into Claude and say “I think I might be undiagnosed, read this message board post and then iterate with me.”
