They did reach the last 16 of the World Cup, but the whole team lacks the magic of Brazilian teams of the past. I’m not certain what has changed, but I think they will get it back with a new generation of players.

Neymar used to have it though, a great player, but he is way past his prime. Interesting that Messi has such great career stamina in comparison, but that is true for Messi compared to almost anyone.
They changed a lot. They have been failing also with their Sub 17-18 -20 teams too. They changed their game and their own league has tons of stars but not one kid because they go to europe too young and their careers get super weird. Brazil used to have amazing 4 or 3 and now they dont even have a good one.

They will bounce back but i would get a brazilian coach and make it work from the sub 20 upwards and select a new generation of young kids, even try to make their teams not to sell them so quick.

Spain won.

While France has looked better this tournament, France vs Spain will be a five star semifinal, with two of the very best teams in the tournament.

Look forward to the remaining two semifinals, especially Norway playing.

Oh, did you mean Spain might pull off the whole thing?

I mean it could have gone either way there. Belgium were defending well, and had Lukaku. He is more than good enough to win them that match.

In the end, part of the reason they won, is that Belgium’s keeper got injured. Spain only scored through a Belgian reserve keeper error.

England vs Argentina is the other obvious semi, but bigger upsets have happened in World Cup history, than at least one of them losing.

Norway v. Argentina would be pretty awesome as well

so much love out there right now for Haaland (and rightly so)

England does look about as good as I've seen them though
