Had a scramble this past weekend. Usually we end up -4 to -6

finished up -10. 9 pars. 8 birdies and a eagle. thankfully I did contribute about 20% of our shots. Our drives were meaningless except for maybe 3 holes because we had a lady hitting from the forward tees. She generally hits her drives 150 yards and straight. given the advantage of 150-200 yards from the lady tees we used her drives most of the time.

I sank a few par and birdie puts. I did have one approach from about 70 yards that looked really nice. the team started dancing cause they thought it was going in. I think it was about 4 inches to the left when we got on the green.

all in all except for my drives i was feeling really good

Nice work, Peeps! Did you win any money?

No. there were a i think 50 groups(?). I think we were top 8. I think the winners were -17

it is a great scramble set up. they are friends and it is in their fathers name. all proceeds go towards scholarships at the school he had taught.

any prize money is yours and will not be accepted back by the committee. a lot of door prizes, blind auction/chinese auction. free drinks and an amazing lunch provided after.

Playing strawberry ridge tomorrow morning. My last outting before the left hip gets replaced next thursday. Played there about 2 years ago. shot a 106

I'm hoping to shoot low 90s (goal is to always try to break 90)

last couple of rounds my work around and on the green has been the best it has ever been (from 150 and in)

if i can only get my driver and woods to cooperate breaking 90 is reachable

Yes, I wish more golfers were that candid.
