The new season has an episode where Hank visits Lady Bird's grave, and it may just be that I am going through the one-two punch of a recent loss + a sick pet but it made me tear up

That one hit pretty close to home for me too. There are a couple of dogs here locally Mrs Wease has been wanting us to take in. They’re both older dogs and I guess she just doesn’t understand how hard the last two we lost hit me. Totally relate to Hank’s reservations. Plus, we still have two dogs.Jorge wrote: Wed July 22, 2026 12:46 pm The new season has an episode where Hank visits Lady Bird's grave, and it may just be that I am going through the one-two punch of a recent loss + a sick pet but it made me tear up

Cesar Salad was a classic king of the hill trope: Hank coming around to appreciate something different from his preconceived idea of what it means to be a dog

Re: King of the Hill
I think this season was stronger than the last. But the revival as a whole has been a blast out of the park. Definitely feels like a natural continuation of the original series. Glad to see we have at least two more seasons coming.
