I had a gigantic subway-sized poster of the No Code album art, which I got from an independent record store shortly after No Code came out, that had that track listing on it. At the time, both "Black Red Yellow" and "All Night" were total mysteries. Eventually I found the import single with "BRY" on it, but "All Night" was a phantom for years. I would post on early fan sites asking if anyone knew what the song was, and no one had any idea. It was unreasonably fulfilling and a tiny bit vindicating when it was released on Lost Dogs. I probably have an exaggerated fondness for the song as a result of this; it still feels a bit like a "secret" PJ song that I knew about before anyone else, because of that poster that I carted around with me move after move for the better part of a decade.

I got All Night at pj20 and it was awesome.

I've only seen PJ live 11 times. I've gotten Hail, Hail 3 times and All Night twice.

11 shows for me as well (9 post No Code) and only gotten Hail, Hail once. The only No Code songs I’ve gotten more than once are Lukin 4 times and Present Tense twice. They don’t play this album very much.

No. I’ve gotten Sometimes and The End by solo Ed, and I’m not counting them.

I’ve only gotten half of Sometimes. Ed forgot the words midway through the song, threw his hands in the air and cursed. The band stopped playing and moved on.

No Code was the first new PJ album to come out after I went all-in on my fandom so it will always hold a special place.

I was 15 and remember rushing my parents out of the Minnesota State Fair so we could swing by Circuit City before it closed and I could pick up the album. Haha.

Our local alt station played Who You Are and I definitely remember the overall sense of "huh, well this is different" in the lead up to the album coming out. This was super early internet era and there was much debate on the AOL - Pearl Jam forums that I frequented. Ha! I think I heard "Hail Hail" played early too even though that wasn't released as a single anywhere until much later.

Same story for me. August of '95 was when things really took off for me, so a yr later, No Code was coming out. That summer, Vitalogy was HEAVY in my rotation (along with SG's down on the upside). So, hearing WYA as the single was interesting.

What a brilliant record. I think it sits JUST out side of the top tier for me (Ten/Vs/Yield)

I've seen the band 9 times, but I've seen every song on No Code (thanks Moline), some multiple times, plus "BRY" (Wrigley 2016) and "All Night" (St. Louis 2010). I saw Eddie solo a couple times but I don't think he did "Dead Man" either time -- my one No Code box left unchecked.

And, +1 to all the 'No Code was my first new PJ record' posts. Good times.
