this thread is really meant more to capture the type of people who want to argue over whether ‘cage free’ eggs are the same as conventional, and not ‘free range’, and are distinct from ‘organic’ - to the point where upon learning that someone in your social circle may be purchasing ‘cage free’ eggs at a supermarket, and not ‘organic’ from a local farmers market; you might feel compelled to insult that person by comparing them to someone who is ‘basic’, thereby prompting an escalation should a certain number of alcohol-infused seltzers been consumed without sufficient canapé consumption to metabolize said alcohol
