Open face sandwiches where the bread is really hard to cut are super annoying.

Eggs on toast or avo toast are at every cafe here, and it’s always on sourdough where the crust is cement like. At least some places give you a serrated knife, but even then, it can be a battle.

What? It's fine, but it's definitely better hot and fresh.

Or do you mean it beats out pizza etc. as the best cold leftovers?

The best fries I ever had were from a restaurant that would slice them thick then freeze them, then double fry them to order: Once for several minutes at like 350-375, then again for 1-2 minutes at like 450. They had the best texture of any fry I’ve ever eaten, super crispy on the outside but light and fluffy inside.

There are tons of variations on fries, certainly had some great and not-so-good ones, I'd say fries are definitely the fried food I miss most.
