can we talk about how stupid ryan day continues to be? the fact that he didn't let texas score with 1:25 to go and a timeout left, particularly when his defense was absolutely gassed and only needing to get into field-goal range with 3 nfl-caliber receivers, is top-notch ryan day coaching. he's an absolute imbecile.

I'm not usually a fan of letting an opponent score, but there was no way Texas wasn't scoring a TD once they got there. You're absolutely right. It was also baffling that Texas ran that 3rd down play with 30 seconds left. No reason to leave any time left on the clock with two timeouts and control like that.
