That’s what they did with Jack. The Bridge School show(s) then out of the US for shows abroad to warm him up.

I was there for that first show with Jack at the bridge school. My first time ever seeing the band and only 15 years old at the time I didn’t fully understand what the event was about and why they were playing acoustic. I remember Ed introducing their new drummer. I didn’t know until that moment that Dave A wasn’t in the band anymore.

Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers stole the show that night.

As a Bay Area native it’s sad that the bridge school benefit doesn’t exist anymore.
