A British grunge revival?

Yeah, that's right. There's some sort of British (and Irish) grunge revival starting to happen...

It's been post-punk for almost a decade now. Idles, Fontaines DC, Murder Capital, Yard Act, Black country new roads,...

But there are more and more bands coming with that all familiar quiet-loud dynamic.

Wunderhorse, Sprints, Keo, Bleech 9:3 and some more...

I love Sprints but I'd still describe them as post-punk / post-hardcore, but yeah those dynamics appear every so often

Agreed! That's why I like Sprints the most. They have more influences than grunge alone. Definitely a cross between alternative and post-punk.

The others are more 'classic grunge' or alternative.

Also a bit more of an 'Indie' sound, bit like 'Wolf ALice'. Just some grunge/alt influences, but they share other influences too.

Bleech 9:3 just released a new single. Very very grunge, ahem love buzz, but still nice to hear that young bands are doing this again
