"Dazed and Confused"

I liked it, I didn't find it to be a "story" as much as some scenes strung together, but that did lend it some authenticity; I also liked how it didn't romanticise the leacherous creep factor

Shout out to Barry Lyndon

For real, it was a banger. I had to read a bunch of those mid-1800s novels in college, and they all had great parts and a ton of really awful filler, and I feel like BL cuts out all the chaff and gets to the real heart of the narrative. The duel scene at the end was so good.

The lighting. The acting. The direction. The premise. The soundtrack. The story. The sets. The vibe. The color.

It's touching and scary and so well made. It got me on just about every level.

A metaphorical ghost story about best friends starring wonderful actors is always my jam.

I think it's one of the best films of the year, so far.

I think all three of his movies have been legit great. Green Knight is probably me least favorite, but it's still a wonderful film that I enjoy.

I watched Nirvanna the Band the Show the Movie and liked it so much I went back and watched the show. Then I realized Matt Johnson directed Tony, which is coming out soon and I'm curious about, and that he also directed and starred in BlackBerry. So I just watched BlackBerry, and it is very good. Gave me chills.

Going to see Tony tonight
