ive met twat. i feel it is safe to say his friends wife makes overtures at him since he is such a good looking and personable guy that his wife gets annoyed

They get along. They’re just not friends.

We have one couple we’re friends with that we went to college with. My wife teaches in the same building as her and he and I get together to play Mario Golf 4 or 5 times a year. They just live an hour away (yes, the wife commutes 40 minutes to work) so we rarely all do stuff together.
