A friend of mine had his shirt tucked in today. I’d never seen him do that before. It reminded me of the song “Dead Wishes” from Higher Truth. That’s easily my favorite song from that album and an all-timer from Cornell’s collective output. Those Songbook tours were my favorite shows by anyone.

Outside of the Black Hole Sun video, they’ve never navigated mainstream media well; one of the larger cult bands ever, I’d wager. Chris’s solo ventures kind of reinforced the point.

can’t seem to find an official / pro shot version of the halftime show vid but there is a fan shot one on you tube that is so-so … outshined is a little dull but spoonman was well delivered. so many mixed emotions watching this but ultimately happy and hope they tour. the seahawks marching band drummers looked stoked to be jamming along to the spoonman breakdown which was a nice moment.
