I'm excited for Halo tomorrow! The original is one of my all time favorites.

And, of course, no store within 70 miles of me received any physical XBOX copies. I had a pre-order too. I ain't playing this on Playstation. No way.

I'm not sure I've ever played the single player of the original Halo. Only had a Gamecube in that era and most of friends had a PS2.

Divinity Original Sin 2. Played for about an hour today, and while it looks great, its controls are a bit stiffer than the original and so far there aren’t enough differences to make it feel like a new game vs just a re-skin. But will obviously keep going.

Real deep into this now. It still feels like more of the same vis-a-vis DOS1, but that's not a terrible thing. I feel like the story in this one is more straight-forward, so it's easier to get invested.

I always get burned out with games like this. Was having so much fun and now I’m in the last act and wish I could speed run to the end of the main story. But with the way leveling works, you almost have to do every sidequest. I may turn the difficulty down so that it ends more quickly.

When I’m done with this, I’m going to try and find something to do for a month until Witcher 3 remastered comes out. I’ve actually never played it, but really want to get into it.

I loaded up Shadow of War today (played Shadow of Mordor for the first time earlier this year), and I’m just not feeling it. Was thinking maybe Halo: Campaign Evolved instead? I gave OG Halo a try a few years ago but couldn’t get into it, am wondering if the updated version will grab me a bit more.

I actually kept going with this and am having fun with Shadow of War now. I remember playing Mordor earlier this year and being underwhelmed with the Nemesis System, after hearing people talk about how awesome it was for years. But I can totally feel it in SOW, even though it looks very similar and many of the game systems are the same, it now feels like these enemies are real characters.

I'm still working my way through Mina the Hollower. Also started a replay for God of War Ragnarök.

These are long games. Still working through both, but I did finish Tears of the Kingdom!
