Just changed my vote from a "1" to a "3" ONLY because when you hear this live, and McCready going off, well, you'll understand.

There are parts that still don't work perfectly, but after seeing Mike go off, it's hard to not like this song now - at least the live version in person.

So, LTRP has kind of been linked to being more in the style of T. Rex. I was unfamiliar with his work so i decided to check it out. I listened to "The Slyder" and holy hell that is an amazing album, and yea, LTRP is kind of like T. Rex. That has helped re-frame the song for me in a more positive light.

Never saw Stevie Ray Vaughn play live, but I kinda got that guitar vibe from the live version - heard it in the studio format, too, but it's much more present in the live version.

Funny, I just got into T.Rex when a friend gave me the Slider record for Christmas last year. I was also blown away. Definitely pick up Electric Warrior! It's amazing.

It was originally on the setlist for the Philly 2 show I was at (1st encore!) but they scratched it... :( Was really looking forward to hearing how this sounds live (but fortunately I'll be listening to my Philly 1 boot later this evening, so perhaps I shall know soon enough)

Heard this song on the radio today, and I think that's the way to hear it. I'm never excited when it starts on the album. But when it came on the radio I was like, Yeah, We should let the records play.

Would it still get the 1 star if a different band was playing it?

I have a really frustrating like (not love) / hate relationship with it. I can't help wishing it had more mojo.

Its got what might be my favorite part of the whole record
The part that begins with
"I've been down and i fell so far from grace"

Im disappointed i didn't get to gear it live, i hope its not a song they put away after this tour

I actually kind of like this one now. Did not see that happening. It doesn't stick out as much in the entire run of the album.

Agreed. This is actually my favorite song off LB. Love it. Probably one of the 3 "funnest" songs of the whole PJ canon.
