Go Brewers and Rays

*Brewers and White Sox… for all those smug northsiders.

[spike]

Not loving how easily this Padres staff is shutting down the Cubs. Brewers have their work cut out for them.

[Chris_H_2]

it didn’t work for the cubs this year, but they’re on the right track. they just need to stay the course. i’m certain that by doing so they can win a wild-card game next year.

[doug rr]

go mattingly..

GO BRAVES

NLDS G1 MVP: The Am Fam Field Roof

[Simple Torture]

Why did they have the roof closed during a postseason game? Was it raining? Or was it too cold for those big strong boys to play outside?

[spike]

Showers in the area. MLB controlled the decision and both teams signed off.

I didn’t have the cable channel it was on so all I saw was Chourio with a 2-2 count and bases loaded, then a blue circle and the words “In play. Run(s).”

I have since seen the replay more times than I’ve seen High Fidelity and Jurassic Park combined.

Captain Yelich was in the middle of both scoring rallies. That little ego boost seems to be working; he’s historically been terrible in October.

Our starting pitching is really pissing me off.

[lennytheweedwhacker]

None of these teams deserve to be in the playoffs

[spike]
