The results were surprising for me.

I would have ranked the albums as such prior to this exercise-

1. Vitalogy

3. Binaural

The results of the ranker would create an album ranking like this for me. No matter if I look at the entire album, the top 5 or 10 songs, basically, the result is the same. The "Tie" are very closely grouped together depending on how the ranking is cut from the songs.

I'd give myself three tiers.

Tier one is the first 66 songs.

Tier two is 67-123

Tier three is everything else.

Here's what this list means for how I'd rank the ten albums. I took the first 9 songs from each album to make it on the list (9 felt like the right number, gives a pretty full representation of each album without weighing the songs I don't like as much too heavily against the album), then came up with a total score.

Lower number is better.

I knew Ten would be #1 by what could be a fair margin, guessed Yield would be #2, but didn't realize just how close it would be. Happy to see No Code #3. I had figured Vs probably would be.

Really surprised to see Lightning Bolt #6, perhaps the novelty is skewing it higher.

Biggest shock of this list is Vitalogy at 7. I would have never expected that (especially when using just 9 songs an album. I'm not even factoring in the extra shit on the album). Might have to go back and figure out what happened here. I think a few songs might have been pushed too low (Spin the Black Circle is probably grossly low).

Expected the last three to be where they are. Backspacer contains two of my 9 favorite PJ songs, but the rest of the album doesn't hold up.

I fully expected S/T to be a distant 10th and it didn't surprise.
