Not as good as the first but still very entertaining.
leave the intentional humor to darcy, the unintentional to erik (no pants was great) and the sorta site gags, like where do i put my hammer

I have mixed feelings about it. Kinda suffers from the superman problem, but had some cool ways to handle it. The humor didn't bug me and felt on par with the first, but it is wildly uneven and sluggish at times. Even the effects range from amazing to television quality.
In the end it tries to be too much, despite the threadbare plot, when Thor and Loki should be the main attraction. It reaches Trekkie levels at times. The Dark Elves were cool though. Didn't have any problems following anything...

While I enjoyed it you're right it should be called Thor 2: Loki Owns this Movie
Hiddleson really has been great in all three so far

It was so frustrating. Felt like I was sitting through hours of Odin Makes Stupid Decisions and Wacky Scientists Try To Look Busy while Thor was offscreen punching bad guys and Loki was hanging out in a cell.

Ah yes, the Batman syndrome.

Sort of, but instead of the villain stealing the movie, the starring role is divvied up between spectacle and too many other characters. He's barely around during any of the major points of the movie. I figure its like Superman. They dont know what to do with him.
i think i liked this better than any of the other solo avengers movies
i thought malaketh n the elves were really cool, but loki is just light years ahead of any marvel character on the big screen right now.. everything he does n says is fuckin great

She has that look that kinda makes you think she'll do anything on a first date. I saw this last night. I thought it was awesome. I think over time, when this whole marvel phases is over. People will look back on the individual films and see that the thor movies were the best ones.
this will probably have to wait until netflix or dvds for me. I've enjoyed all the solo avengers movies. There are parts of each I felt worked great, and other parts that didn't, but everything has been fun to watch. Ironman I is the only one I thought was excellent.
