Grrrr, I'm starting to think the Broncos caught the Colts on the wrong week.

What the heck is wrong with them? I can't imagine Reggie Wayne is making that big of a difference, but they didn't look good even though they won last week, and they look terrible this week

Yeah, I should have blamed on that on James Ihedigbo. Still, I'm getting REALLY sick of this. They need to push the start of the late games all the way to the top of the hour.

I do agree with that, its nice to have pretty much non stop football, but it sucks to start watching a game in progress

I think today's game in San Diego proved why it's been almost 20 years since the NFL has had a team in LA. Pretty ridiculous that there were so many Broncos fans in the stands at the stadium, and I'm sure that holds true for several other visiting teams, as well.

And while I'm on the subject, my heart always warms when I see a Brees to Sproles TD pass while they're wearing Saints uniforms.

- if the Saints only played night home games, they would never lose.

- Romo has a cannon, but an innacurate one.

- Al Michaels might be senile.

Figured that some of you might be interested to hear that I just finished a salary cap calculator that I had been working on for a while. One of the conclusions that you can quickly come to looking through is "LOL Cowboys".

WOW, is it even possible for them to restructure contracts to make that work, or will they be getting rid of lots of players next year?

I think you were posting the same thing about the Jets last year. Looking at that calculator they managed just fine.

They actually have no choice but to restructure. The only player they could cut to gain significant space would be Ware, but that's obviously a bad idea for many reasons. Romo, Ware, Carr, Witten, Austin, and Lee will all have to be restructured, and probably Scandrick and Orton as well. Of course, doing all that would put then $11 million over in 2015, and that's without counting draft picks and extensions for the likes of Dez Bryant or DeMarco Murray. That team is going to enter a death spiral soon just like the Raiders did.

Another team that's going to be in trouble are the Steelers. Do not be surprised if Troy Polamalu and Ike Taylor are cap casualties in February.

The Jets were able to avoid cap hell by cutting a ton of old players, and they'll get even more room next year when they can get rid of Sanchez. The Cowboys aren't going to have that option.

as much as i enjoyed watching troy in his prime he is now a shell of that. this might be the first season in 4 or 5 years (it seems) that he hasnt missed any games due to injury. id have no problem letting him go from a business/return point of view

also ben asking for a trade wouldnt be too big of an issue either. the steelers do need to draft a heir so to speak and it needs to happen soon
