I'm here from Thursday to Sunday. I'm staying near the Space Needle. I'm after anything, but I like food the most. Let me know if there's anything I MUST see.

This Pop-Up Shop is going to infringe on my Saturday now. I'm going to have to check it out.
Best photo op: Kerry Park, not too far from the Space Needle. Outstanding view of the city on a clear day.

Nightlife: Thursday & Saturday... I would avoid Belltown unless you like nightclubs. Again near the Space Needle there are some good places in the "Lower Queen Anne" neighborhood (this is where Key Arena is). Oskar's Kitchen is a bar owned by Shawn Kemp. Peso's is a little clubby but lots of eye candy there. Ozzie's is great for karaoke if that's your thing. And then you can find about a million craft cocktail places in the Capitol Hill neighborhood. The Pike Brewery (in Pike Place market) is probably the closest brewery (again, depending on where you're staying). There are more places to go than you can shake a stick at, so just pick something.

Food: If you like seafood, plenty of places to check out in the Ballard neighborhood (that will definitely require a cab ride). Also in Ballard there should be plenty of places to catch live music...also up on Capitol Hill. I would also say that the Seattle area has lots of great Thai food.

The pop-up shop is at the Showbox Market, which is across the street from Pike Place market. Worth an hour to walk through the market if you're feeling touristy.

Outdoors: December isn't the best time to visit in my opinion, but you could just wander around downtown Seattle and get caught up in the Christmas/Holiday atmosphere.

History: You could get a photo of the first club where Mookie Blaylock ever played live. In 1990 it was the Offramp, it is now called El Corazon.
I'll definitely check out El Corazon. Is there any other PJ-related site seeing you'd recommend?

I'm not into clubs or bars all that much, but I'll check out those donut places to try a maple bar.

I mapped everything and the only thing not in walking distance is Gas Works Park.
Hmmm... anything else PJ related... Just watch Singles and you'll have your roadmap to the city :-)

I guess you could go down to Pioneer Square and check out J&M, the Central Tavern, etc. Those were the clubs where Soundgarden, Alice In Chains, etc. played in the early, early days. Also the Crocodile Cafe' in the Belltown area. Things have changed over the years though...you're likely to catch any one of those places with a very different crowd.

Oh, and someone can feel free to correct me if I'm wrong but I think the place where Ed gets his $10 eggs has changed hands and has a new name. As I recall it was like 2 blocks from the Space Needle.

I'm not a big donut guy but people seem to love Top Pot.

Anyone have one extra? Obviously, I'd be willing to pay with USD, but if trading is more your thing, I have the Wrigley Schuss that still hasn't been taken out of the tube.

I would be very interested in purchasing Fan Club seats/GA for face value if anyone here can't use theirs...!!!!

I know that's a tall order but it doesn't hurt to ask.

I found someone at work to sell my nosebleeds to, but only if I can get better seats at face.

Anyone got a pair available??
I am still looking for this in addition to the single in the previous post.

Bammer wrote:If there are any two individual people here who each got a pair of 10C tix, and you're only using one...I would LOVE to work out way to have the two of you individuals go together, and purchase one of your pairs so that a friend and I can go together with 10C seats or GA.

Let me know if this is possible...thanks.
I would also like to try and broker this deal if at all possible. My one rule is that nobody tries to sell a PJ ticket for above face value.

I worked out a similar deal in Dallas and it turned out perfect. 7 total tickets changed hands including a fan club pair, and everyone went home happy.

For this Seattle show I'm tryin to help a friend buy a single (without getting raped) and upgrade my own seats (without getting raped).

It was on the written set list but scratched. The chances look good.

Does anyone know if Key Arena's security is aware of the Ricky Ramone situation?
