Re: Post-Riot Act Moneygrab
So, the new Lightning Bolt 7" 45's certainly fall into this category. While they didn't appear to make enough to grab too much money from the primary market release, they completely understand that the idiotic PJ collectible base will pump these things up to ridiculously stupid secondary market prices. They can just hold back a few hundred of these things for a few years, sell them for hundreds of dollars a piece and wham! there's $100K profit!

It wouldn't cost twenty five bucks to ship a tea bag priority mail.

Well, but consider the stated value for insurance coverage!? The risk to ship such a valuable item would intimidate any packing line employee, especially with the "Eddie Vedder discharge" labelE.H. Ruddock wrote:It wouldn't cost twenty five bucks to ship a tea bag priority mail.

I saw the whole interview now, and I loved the part where they spoke about No Code, and Ed's writing process for those songs.harmless wrote:It was on the extended Mark Richards interview I think.Anders wrote:Can someone please elaborate on this?Anders wrote:Where was this "GODDAMN I LOVE NO CODE" moment? Got Some
My Father's Son
World Wide Suicide
Lightning Bolt
Cold Confession
Parachutes
Gonna See My Friend
Marker in the Sand
Mind Your Manners
Life Wasted
The End
Severed Hand

Regardless, it's just a shame that it's just a handful of songs from each album.

But more seriously I could add Got Some and My Father's Son. So that's 4.
