Who's still got better work ahead of them to be excited about? Go ahead.

Haha. Fuck it, I saw the negative thread and was hoping to get some bands out of people that they're excited about. I think TVotR might've peaked though. I sure hope not, they're pretty damn talented. Of course the "have peaked" and the "please don't post pics" threads are the ones that took off.

I clicked on this one not realizing at first it was a new one until I saw TVotR wasn't the first picture. I'm with you though, I can't decide if I think they have or not.

Anyways, if this is thread we're going with (or until they get merged), I'll contribute...

CHVRCHES. I can easily see The Bones of What You Believe In being the start of a run of records that keep topping each other.

(Of course, as the CHVRCHES thread shows, I'm extremely biased...)

I was thinking Mynabirds, but I haven't listened to them enough to be an authority on where they're heading. I've listened to their first several times and it sounds pretty good.

i like to think that i have a pretty good grip of smaller bands yet this is still the only place i've ever heard the Mynabirds mentioned.

Some sort of running joke or are they actually good? what i've heard was pretty nice but nothing really groundbreaking or memorable.

This guys have barely hatched. First record is incredible. It's all ahead of them.
