I love the musical montages at the end of the episodes.

I was never super impressed with him as a character anyway. Felt they tried too hard to make him the most evil thing of all time. Never felt it.

The actor's delivery makes him sound like an Elvis impersonator at an off-strip casino.Strat wrote:I was never super impressed with him as a character anyway. Felt they tried too hard to make him the most evil thing of all time. Never felt it.

It wasn't as bad as I had feared. It was distracting how much he look like Snake Plissken though.verb_to_trust wrote:The walking governor was nice change of pace, I thought....

Re: TV: The Walking Dead
I really enjoyed it. I like how the villain has depth and complexity and isn't just a caricature. It's obvious that he snapped at the end of last season, and it's obvious that it disturbed him. He could have eventually put it all behind him and outrun his past, and no one but him would have known...but then he ran into Martinez.MattA75 wrote:Apparently I'm the only one on earth who didn't mind that episode last night
I actually have really enjoyed this season, too - though it seems I'm in the minority on RM at least.

Re: TV: The Walking Dead
The first 30 minutes was beyond slow but it started to come together and build off the character development. Ended up thinking i was a pretty good episode. The entire time I kept thinking that the Gov' would end up slaughtering the family because the little girl reminded him of his own. Figured that switch would flip. I think thats why the episode was good.

I actually liked last night too. The virus angle is over, so it was time to go governor. I think I can see how it all goes down.
