Is Getaway the grooviest song PJ has done with Matt? Sounds that way to me, but I could be forgetting a song or two.

Pretty groovy. I'd throw 1/2 Full and Infallible in there too.

Nothing that Matt has played on can compare with a Dave A Even Flow or Rats. Jack had a groove but it wasn't as groovy as Dave A.

Yep. I guess there are a few..Save You has a bluesy / groovy bass line, so maybe that one too. I feel like Parachutes should of had more groove to it.

Black Red Yellow peoples! Groovy as.

And Dirty Frank is definitely groovy. That is a great example of a song I love that many really seem to despise. I don't care that it's [harmless]generic[/harmless], I just get into it whenever I hear it.

14 song Groovy playlist:

Wash
No Way
Black Red Yellow
In the Moonlight
WMA
Tremor Christ
In My Tree
Given to Fly
You Are
Undone
Rival
Even Flow
Dirty Frank
All Those Yesterdays

Weird side question about Aye Davanita...

When Vitalogy came out, I remember a few kids I knew swearing that the words on the page for Aye Davanita were put there for the listener to sing along to the music with their own melody. Was this a common theory or just something some stupid kids from my suburb made up?

All those weird time-shifts in the verse. The ghosting on the drums. It's all funk.

is that a live version?
