Best songs of 2013 (or how we all tried to win Stip over)

Other than Pearl Jam, who else is there?

okay, I listened to every song with a youtube video link and the only songs I was interested in were BurtReynold's song from the national and that song lament linked. And the nick cave song was pretty good.

Annabel was okay,

None of these blew me away

Maybe badmusic is right and I just don't like music. Someone tell me most of these songs aren't that great so I can feel better about myself. Or link something better.

I wasn't impressed by a lot of what's been posted....

just pretend they are all by Pearl Jam, give them the obligatory 27 listens, and force yourself to like them :)

the music started and first I thought 'hey, this is pretty good' and then I thought 'fuck, I hope I don't like the dadrock song on principle' and then he started to sing and I started to lose interest. I like the music though

I feel like this will forever be a standard reaction to 85% of the stuff I get you to listen to...

(I'm trying to stick to more traditional rock-type stuff cause I feel like my arsenal of pretty girls playing piano or pressing buttons probably won't impress you...)

the atoms for peace song was pretty good. I was about to say this guy sounds just like thom yorke and then I looked them up. It also kind of reminds me at the same time why I've gotten bored with radiohead.

It's not really my thing, but I liked the Daft Punk song.

I see no real reason to listen to Neil Finn unless he's singing with Eddie Vedder

I kinda liked this until whatever that weird thing is during the chorus. This is one of the greatest band names i've ever heard, though.

I feel like I am like 15 degrees off from Lament. I almost like every song he links, but something just knocks me slightly off course.

But till then...
