When a band is but a fraction of Pearl Jam, but they aren't zero Pearl Jam.

Vedder/Hansard bromance

Post by joostone »

He and Vedder even found time to record a few tunes together which they’ll polish and release later this year.
Looks like Glen Hansard will be the Ronnie Lane to Eddie Vedder's Townshend.

This could be interesting ;)

Looking forward. Glen might be the last addition to my musical tastes thanks to Ed.

To answer that on face value, As with most things, we work on very different scales. he builds huge kitchen tables. I build coat racks and bookcases.
He's good. I'm better ;)

I think we are going to need a bird-house-off to settle this.

Wow.

No wonder a night bird is following you all the time. She probably wants her busted-ass house fixed. ;)

You know, apart from liking Glen and Ed and Dave, I still want to pick up woodwork as well. My great grandfather was a carpenter :). He made furniture. With my grandfather (his son in law) being a painter, I should be good at it ;).

groetjes,
Mirella :)

The process of building with one's hands in very satisfying, especially for those of us who are not particularly artistic. I bet you would really like it if you tried.

sad to report this was a quote from Glen that was taken wildly out of context and exaggerated hugely by the journalist.

I'd be curious to know what other possible context there could be.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

That wouldn't be outside of the things I was thinking when this originally came out.

EP, Soundtrack contributions, etc.
