I ve seen some pretty cool movies during a film festival here in Argentina...three great titles:

The Dirties.
Wow...that kid is very talented. Even if the end seems a little obvious, the fact that he direct this movie, and acted so well...that kid has talent.

Drug War.
Hell yeah!! Johnnie To everyone..that´s how you shoot a movie. Intense, violent, fucked up...everything is here.

Why Dont You Play In Hell??
Ok everyone, you need to watch this. I wont tell anything about this movie. You just need to realize how good and fucked up this one is.

Bonus Track:
The Big Lebowski in 35mm while i was high.
BONE FUCKIN´ TOMAHAWK.

Yeah, the festival this year has been awesome. "Why Don't You Play In Hell" was great. I was also at a Lebowski screening.

A few other films worth mentioning: "Club Sandwich", "Sacrificial Youth", "The Pervert's Guide to Ideology", "Moebius" (WTF), "Drinking Buddies", "Mother", "The Host" (still wonderful), "Algunos Días Sin Música", "The Amazing Catfish", "El Aire", the aforementioned "Blues de los Plomos". I was excited about seeing "The Dirties", but I missed my screening.

I also missed my screening of "Cichonga", but ended up drinking a beer with Bong Joon-Ho instead. I love Mar del Plata.

One of my favorite movies so far this year. Well done. Over the top at times, but that's standard for its genre.

I remember seeing "Mother" a couple years ago in the theater. I didn't know what to expect. It was pretty well crafted.

Johnny Mnemonic, in which Keanu is out-acted by a plastic dolphin and Henry Rollins, who plays an expert doctor AND hacker.

Started watching Frailty, which I've never seen. Pretty good, but felt like a Bad Santa kind of night.

Watched The Mist last night. My memory of this film is better than the actual movie was....

I'm pretty sure my memory of that film is spot on, it's shitty, boring and predictable. I saw it on a half price Tuesday, and still felt ripped off.
