Yeah, he was a bit, but the band sounded great, even Ed was jamming a bit on it
Oh yeah, I remember the song sounding fantastic otherwise. Just always made me wonder if that's why they don't play the song more often live. Maybe Ed struggles with it too much to do frequently.
I know I've got a boot from somewhere in 98, maybe Pittsburgh where they played it, but Ed kinda sounded frustrated that people had signs for it, he said something like "here it is if you guys fuckin want it" . So i can see something like that being the case

Any idea if the s/t and backspacer videos were thought to be released as longer videos? The both looked great but way too short

No Way is one of those songs that would be great in a "Showbox" style setting (i.e. small gig) but terrible in an arena. I can see why they don't play, I just wish they wouldn't play Gilbert Arenas so much.
While a Western guitar motif lost on the swings drum bass fusion, get your own thoughts into the subconscious often forgotten. "Pendulum" is a sweeping soul from the ballast.

Ed who?
I've never danced at a concert like I've danced at a Pearl Jam concert.
