Like in the old days. Get a random partner, make a mix for them, upload it somewhere (without song or artist names), then post reviews of each other's mixes. It used to be a great way to get exposed to new stuff. I know OB isn't as active as it used to be, but would anyone care to participate?

- You'll get a partner. Your partner will not know who is making their list.
- You can choose to tailor the mix to your partner's taste, or introduce them to new stuff, or make a mix designed solely for the purpose of annoying them. It's completely up to you.
- We're doing this digitally. The mixes should be on blank mp3s. That means that track and artist names should be removed. Please PM me if you need help with this.
- Mixes should be somewhere between 45 and 80 minutes long.
- Once you've crafted your mix, upload it to some file sharing site. There are plenty of free ones, like Dropbox or Copy, that allow for sharing links. If you need help with this, please PM me. I've got plenty of room in my Dropbox.
- Mixes should be ready and PM'd to me by December 24th. That gives you three weeks. That should be ample time to put something together.
- Once a mix have been given to you, it would be great if you could make time to write up a review of it. Everyone likes feedback. Even if you're not into it. Just don't be a dick.
Your partner will be revealed (if you haven't guessed who it is) once you've reviewed their mix.

I see a few options here. Instead of giving deadlines and zip files . We can do this like a secret santa deal with actual mixes we send via post. Tapes, CDs, thumbdrives, whatever.
Or we do it via soundcloud or something? That seemed to work pretty well for the tournaments, no?
Or we can just do it like we did on the old board.
Either way I'm in.
