Homicide reported at Arrowhead Stadium during Chiefs-Broncos game
Posted: Dec 01, 2013 6:11 PM MST Updated: Dec 01, 2013 6:41 PM MST
By DeAnn Smith, Digital Content Manager - email

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

A homicide occurred on Sunday at Arrowhead Stadium where the Kansas City Chiefs and Broncos played each other.

Kansas City police Chief Darryl Forte tweeted about the homicide. Police officials said it occurred in Lot A during the game.

Forte said two suspects are in custody.

Police sources tell KCTV5 that a man and his son had gone to their vehicle during the game. When they arrived, they found another man rifling through the vehicle and a disturbance broke out. The father apparently died during the fight.

This occurred exactly one year after Chiefs linebacker Jovan Belcher killed Kasandra Perkins, the mother of his infant daughter, and then drove to Arrowhead where he killed himself in front of horrified team leaders.

KCTV5 is gathering more information. Refresh this page for updates.

If you're talking about the Shaughnessy flag, I thought it was dead on, and Mike Pereira agreed.

If the three people ahead of me all take the Seahawks (-5.5) tonight and I take the Saints, and if the Saints win, then I'll win the week and about $100 if I win the tie breaker (total pts scored on MNF).

My guess is that all three will take the 'Hawks and taking the 'dog (Saints) is my best shot at winning the week. No prize for second place.

Thanks for listening, RM Sports.

The fact That Seattle had to use architecture to artificially make the stadium louder makes anything said about the noise level unimpressive to me

I don't think they were out to impress anyone. I think they were out to make it the loudest stadium in the NFL. Done.

Lot of season left, they were coming off a bye and they are really good at home, the football gods owe Richard Sherman a shitload of comeuppance.

Not if we're the #1 seed, and we only need to go 2-2 in our last 4 games to clinch home field advantage.

On Dec 15th we play at the Giants, then our last two are at home against the Cards and Rams. So we will be leaving NY on Dec. 15th, going back to Seattle and winning 4 games (2 regular season, Divisional Playoffs, NFC Championship), and returning to NY on Feb. 2nd.

GO HAWKS!!!

So the safety first NFL really doesn't care about the PED racket out in Seattle, do they?
